September 30, 2024: Newark, NJ 07103 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the West Side Roughriders (Newark, NJ) and the visiting University Phoenix (Newark, NJ), saw West Side's soccer squad triumph over University by a score of 10-2.
The Roughriders (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Central (Newark, NJ). The Blue Devils enter the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Central was overwhelmed by Irvington (Irvington, NJ), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Phoenix confront the Weequahic Indians (Newark, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 4. University will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Payne Tech (Newark, NJ).
