September 30, 2024: Buena Vista, GA 31803 The Brookstone Cougars softball team scored 3 runs and held the host Marion County Eagles to 1 in the Cougars non-league win on Monday.
The Cougars now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Strong Rock Christian for a GIAA Class AAA & AAAA District 5 battle on Tuesday, October 1. Brookstone will confront a Patriots team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, Marion County moves to 13-14 on the season. The Eagles travel to Manchester (Manchester, GA) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 1. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a record of 4-16. Manchester lost 15-0 in their recent league battle against Trion (Trion, GA)
