September 30, 2024: Homerville, GA 31634 The Clinch County Panthers overwhelmed the visiting Turner County Titans softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. Clinch County will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Rebels go into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 9-1 league win over Echols County (Statenville, GA).
The Titans (0-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA). The Purple Hurricane go into the non-league challenge with a 3-19 record. In their last challenge, Fitzgerald was routed by Berrien (Nashville, GA), 16-1, in a league challenge.
