September 30, 2024: Danielsville, GA 30633 In Monday's league match, the host Madison County Red Raiders softball team scored a tight 7-5 win over the Flowery Branch Falcons.
The Red Raiders (10-11) will now prepare for their match against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 5-19 record. In their last match, Oconee County by Monroe Area (Monroe, GA), 8-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA) in a 4A Region 8 match, on Tuesday, October 1. Flowery Branch will attempt to better on its 4-16 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 8-13 record after their 20-0 league win over Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA).
