Missouri High School Softball - Jefferson sneaks past Stanberry
September 30, 2024: Stanberry, MO 64489 In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Jefferson Eagles softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Stanberry Bulldogs.
The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Northeast Nodaway (Ravenwood, MO). The Blue Jays come into the Class 1 District 16 match with a 8-4 record. In their last match, Northeast Nodaway nipped East Buchanan (Gower, MO), 11-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Gallatin Bulldogs (Gallatin, MO) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 3. Stanberry will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 11-3 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Milan (Milan, MO).
