September 30, 2024: Canisteo, NY 14823 The Bishop Kearney Kings (Rochester, NY) volleyball knocked off the host Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers (Canisteo, NY), 3-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Kings now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Aquinas Institute for a Section 5 Private-Parochial bout on Tuesday, October 1. Bishop Kearney will clash with a Little Irish team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY). The Little Irish record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Canisteo-Greenwood drops to 2-8 on the campaign. The Chargers host Avoca Central (Avoca, NY) to clash with the Tigers in a Section 5 Steuben County bout on Wednesday, October 2.
