September 30, 2024: West Greenwich, RI 02817 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI) and the visiting Block Island (New Shoreham, RI), observed Exeter-West Greenwich's volleyball team top Block Island by a tally of 3-1.
The Scarlet Knights (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Smithfield (North Smithfield, RI). The Northmen enter the Division 2 contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, North Smithfield beat Westerly (Westerly, RI), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the meet the Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI) in a Division 3 contest, on Wednesday, October 2. Block Island will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI).
