September 30, 2024: Livingston, LA 70754 Live Oak Eagles (Watson, LA) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Live Oak advances its record to 6-11 on the season. The Eagles host Covington (Covington, LA) to face the Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Lions go into the test with a record of 6-10. Covington lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Northlake Christian (Covington, LA)
The Tigers now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Thomas Aquinas for a Division IV District 7 test on Tuesday, October 1. Doyle will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Springfield (Springfield, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-4.
