September 30, 2024: Akron, OH 44312 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Mogadore Wildcats (Mogadore, OH) and the host Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH), observed Mogadore's volleyball team top Springfield by a count of 3-1.
The Wildcats (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Aquinas (Louisville, OH). The Knights enter the Portage Trail - County contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Aquinas was knocked off by Chaney (Youngstown, OH), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Spartans battle the Ravenna Ravens (Ravenna, OH) in a Portage Trail - Metro contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Springfield will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Ravens enter the contest with a 2-15 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Western Reserve Academy (Hudson, OH).
