Mississippi High School Volleyball - Walnut over Myrtle
September 30, 2024: Myrtle, MS 38650 The Walnut Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Myrtle Hawks to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Monday.
The Wildcats now have a 28-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hatley for a Class 2A Region 1 outing on Tuesday, October 1. Walnut will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Hamilton (Hamilton, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 13-9.
With the loss, Myrtle drops to 4-20 on the campaign. The Hawks host Senatobia (Senatobia, MS) to play the Warriors in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 3. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 8-11. Senatobia won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS)
