Virginia High School Soccer - Carlisle New Covenant
September 30, 2025: Axton, VA 24054 New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA), 3-1 in a league outing.
The Gryphons (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA). The Bishops go into the outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Virginia Episcopal School by Blue Ridge (St. George, VA), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Chiefs confront the Hargrave Military Academy Tigers (Chatham, VA) in a outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Carlisle will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
