September 30, 2025: Newton, MA 02459 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Natick Redhawks (Natick, MA) and the host Newton South Lions (Newton, MA), saw Natick's soccer squad hold off Newton South by a count of 1-0.
The Redhawks (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Braintree (Braintree, MA). The Wamps come into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Braintree was tipped by Walpole (Walpole, MA), 2-1, in a non-league match.
The Lions now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Needham for a non-league match on Saturday, October 4. Newton South will meet a Rockets team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA). The Rockets record now stands at 3-1.
