With the win, Westmoreland improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to West Point (West Point, VA) to encounter the Pointers in a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. The Pointers go into the battle with a record of 3-5. West Point lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Middlesex (Saluda, VA)
The Red Devils now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rappahannock for a non-league contest on Thursday, October 2. Lancaster will battle a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-2.
