Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) and the host Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV), saw Nicholas County's soccer squad triumph over Midland Trail by a score of 7-1.

The Grizzlies (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Mavericks enter the Coalfield AA battle with a 2-8 record.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) in a Coalfield AA test, on Thursday, October 2. Midland Trail will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record.
