September 30, 2025: Huntington, WV 25701 The Huntington Highlanders edged the visiting Boyd County Lions volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Highlanders confront the Oak Hill Red Devils (Oak Hill, WV) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 2. Huntington will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Red Devils go into the game with a 11-14 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV).
With the loss, Boyd County drops to 7-8 on the campaign. The Lions host Raceland (Raceland, KY) to play the Rams in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 2. The Rams come into the outing with a record of 10-15. Raceland lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Greenup County (Greenup, KY)
