In Tuesday's league bout, the Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO) volleyball team held off the host Perryville Pirates (Perryville, MO), by a margin of 3-2.

The Tigers now possess a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Windsor for a non-league match on Saturday, October 4. Central will battle a Owls squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Mehlville (St. Louis, MO). The Owls record now stands at 18-3.
