Texas High School Basketball - Seymour tops Bellevue
January 1, 2022: Bellevue, TX 76228 Seymour Panthers (Seymour, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bellevue Eagles (Bellevue, TX), 46-28 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Seymour upgrades its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Iowa Park (Iowa Park, TX) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 3-10. Iowa Park lost 59-47 in their recent non-league bout against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the Midway Falcons (Henrietta, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Bellevue will attempt to upgrade on its 0-17 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 53-29 non-league loss to Henrietta (Henrietta, TX).
