Texas High School Basketball - Gary crushes Laneville
January 1, 2022: Gary, TX 75643 Gary Bobcats (Gary, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Laneville Yellowjackets (Laneville, TX), 50-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Gary upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Bobcats host Joaquin (Joaquin, TX) to clash with the Rams in a 2A Region III District 23 bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Joaquin lost 44-37 in their recent league bout against Martinsville (Martinsville, TX)
Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the Apple Springs Eagles (Apple Springs, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 27 bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Laneville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
