January 1, 2023: Jersey City, NJ 07302 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the St. Peter's Prep Marauders (Jersey City, NJ) and the visiting Immaculate Conception Lions (Montclair, NJ), saw St. Peter's Prep's basketball squad hold off Immaculate Conception by a count of 63-61.
With the victory, St. Peter's Prep upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Marauders host Union City (Union City, NJ) to play the Soaring Eagles in a Hudson County - American challenge on Monday, January 2. The Soaring Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Union City lost 61-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Colonia (Colonia, NJ)
Next up, the Lions play the Roselle Catholic Lions (Roselle, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Immaculate Conception will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
