January 10, 2022: Dumfries, VA 22026 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) and the host Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves (Dumfries, VA), saw Bishop Ireton's basketball squad knock off Saint John Paul the Great Catholic by a tally of 75-62.
With the victory, Bishop Ireton improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD) to play the Mustangs in a Washington Catholic challenge on Sunday, January 16. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 8-0.
Next up, the Wolves play the Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 14. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
