Texas High School Basketball - Mabank topped by Palestine
January 10, 2022: Mabank, TX 75147 The Palestine Wildcats basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Mabank Panthers to 38 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Center for a 4A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 14. Palestine will battle a Roughriders team coming off a 65-52 non-league win over Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 13-7.
The Panthers (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wills Point (Wills Point, TX). The Tigers come into the 4A Region II District 14 contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Wills Point prevailed over Alba-Golden (Alba, TX), 56-41, in a non-league contest.
