January 10, 2022: Swanton, OH 43558 The Swanton Bulldogs basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Ottawa Hills Green Bears to 36 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick Henry for a Northwest Ohio contest on Friday, January 14. Swanton will meet a Patriots team coming off a 68-47 non-league win over North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 7-2.
The Green Bears (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Toledo Christian (Toledo, OH). The Eagles enter the Toledo Area contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Toledo Christian nudged Emmanuel Baptist Christian (Toledo, OH), 52-48, in a league contest.
