Minnesota High School Basketball - Renville County West thwarts Sleepy Eye
January 10, 2022: Sleepy Eye, MN 56085 The Renville County West Jaguars (Renville, MN) basketball knocked off the host Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN), 55-42 in Monday's non-league test.
The Jaguars (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN). The Sting go into the A Section 3 test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Yellow Medicine East went down by Paynesville (Paynesville, MN), 75-41, in a non-league test.
The Indians now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Minnesota Valley Lutheran for a AA Section 2 outing on Tuesday, January 11. Sleepy Eye will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 72-57 non-league loss to New Ulm Cathedral (New Ulm, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 1-9.
