Black Hawk Warriors (South Wayne, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Shullsburg Miners (Shullsburg, WI), 48-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Black Hawk upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Pecatonica (Blanchardville, WI) to play the Vikings in a Six Rivers - East bout on Friday, January 14. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 6-8. Pecatonica won 70-43 in their recent league bout against Juda (Juda, WI)

Next up, the Miners play the Belmont Braves (Belmont, WI) in a Six Rivers - West bout, on Friday, January 14. Shullsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 14-1 record after their 63-49 league win over Benton (Benton, WI).
