Maryland High School Basketball - Sherwood crushes Wheaton
January 10, 2022: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wheaton Knights (Silver Spring, MD), 56-18 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sherwood upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Northwood (Silver Spring, MD) to play the Gladiators in a Montgomery County - 4A East bout on Wednesday, January 12. The Gladiators come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Northwood lost 62-41 in their recent non-league bout against Rockville (Rockville, MD)
Next up, the Knights play the Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 12. Wheaton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Bengals come into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 58-39 league win over Einstein (Kensington, MD).
