January 10, 2022: Bayard, NM 88023 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) and the host Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM), saw Silver's basketball squad overcome Cobre by a tally of 56-39.
With the victory, Silver improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Fighting Colts travel to Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM) to confront the Desert Warriors in a challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Desert Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-5.
Next up, the Indians confront the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 13. Cobre will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
