January 10, 2023: Independence, IA 50644 The Benton Bobcats basketball team (Van Horne, IA), was toppled 58-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Independence Mustangs (Independence, IA)
The Mustangs now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marion for a WAMAC - West battle on Tuesday, January 17.
The Bobcats (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA). The Vikings come into the WAMAC - West battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Vinton-Shellsburg was toppled by Marion (Marion, IA), 86-45, in a league battle.
