Connecticut High School Basketball - Stratford tops Bethel
January 10, 2023: Stratford, CT 06615 Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bethel Wildcats (Bethel, CT), 34-16 in a league bout.
With the victory, Stratford upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Joel Barlow (Redding, CT) to play the Falcons in a Southwest bout on Friday, January 13. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 2-7. Joel Barlow won 56-47 in their recent league bout against Masuk (Monroe, CT)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) in a Southwest bout, on Thursday, January 12. Bethel will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Nighthawks come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 52-42 league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, CT).
