Missouri High School Basketball - Bourbon fells Laquey
January 10, 2023: Laquey, MO 65534 Bourbon War Hawks (Bourbon, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Laquey Hornets (Laquey, MO), 73-65 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bourbon upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The War Hawks host Grandview (Hillsboro, MO) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Grandview lost 54-48 in their recent non-league bout against Bourbon (Bourbon, MO)
Next up, the Hornets play the Crocker Lions (Crocker, MO) in a Frisco bout, on Friday, January 13. Laquey will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 49-47 league win over Newburg (Newburg, MO).
