Ridgway Elker (Ridgway, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Brockway Rovers (Brockway, PA), 57-15 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ridgway upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Elker host DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois, PA) to play the Cardinals in a Allegheny Mountain - Southern bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 7-4.

Next up, the Rovers play the Curwensville Golden Tide (Curwensville, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Brockway will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Golden Tide come into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 59-58 league win over Mount Union (Mount Union, PA).
