Washington High School Basketball - Cheney overwhelmed by Gonzaga Prep
January 10, 2023: Spokane, WA 99207 The Gonzaga Prep Bullpups basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Cheney Blackhawks to 38 in the Bullpups league victory on Tuesday.
The Bullpups now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Spokane for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane contest on Friday, January 13. Gonzaga Prep will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 63-41 league win over Ferris (Spokane, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-1.
The Blackhawks (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA). The Bears come into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Central Valley was routed by University (Spokane, WA), 77-67, in a league contest.
