The John Ehret Patriots (Marrero, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Covington Lions (Covington, LA), 77-58 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Patriots (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Landry (New Orleans, LA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Landry went down by Carver Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA), 53-50, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Fontainebleau for a 5A District 6 test on Tuesday, January 24.
