Arkansas High School Basketball - Danville holds off Magazine
January 10, 2023: Magazine, AR 72943 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Danville Little Johns (Danville, AR) and the host Magazine Rattlers (Magazine, AR), saw Danville's basketball squad nip Magazine by a margin of 40-37.
The Little Johns (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Cossatot River (Cove, AR). The Eagles go into the 3A Region 4 test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Cossatot River was tipped by Cedarville (Cedarville, AR), 63-62, in a league test.
The Rattlers now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Westside for a 2A Region 4 test on Tuesday, January 10. Magazine will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 61-57 league win over Mountainburg (Mountainburg, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 10-5.
