Michigan High School Basketball - DeWitt nips Mason
January 10, 2023: DeWitt, MI 48820 DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mason Bulldogs (Mason, MI), 52-45 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, DeWitt upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Pinckney (Pinckney, MI) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 1-6. Pinckney lost 77-38 in their recent league bout against Chelsea (Chelsea, MI)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Eastern Quakers (Lansing, MI) in a Capital Area - Red bout, on Friday, January 13. Mason will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Quakers come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 52-46 league win over Williamston (Williamston, MI).
