Missouri High School Basketball - Maryville holds off East Buchanan
January 10, 2023: Gower, MO 64454 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Maryville Spoofhounds (Maryville, MO) and the host East Buchanan Bulldogs (Gower, MO), saw Maryville's basketball squad hold off East Buchanan by a tally of 42-40.
With the victory, Maryville improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Spoofhounds travel to Savannah (Savannah, MO) to confront the Savages in a Midland Empire challenge on Friday, January 20. The Savages come into the challenge with a record of 3-7.
The Bulldogs now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Savannah for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. East Buchanan will encounter a Savages squad coming off a 46-36 non-league win over North Platte (Dearborn, MO). The Savages record now stands at 3-7.
