Minnesota High School Basketball - Edina holds off Jefferson
January 10, 2023: Bloomington, MN 55437 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Edina Hornets (Edina, MN) and the host Jefferson Jaguars (Bloomington, MN), saw Edina's basketball squad hold off Jefferson by a tally of 65-62.
With the victory, Edina improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Waconia (Waconia, MN) to confront the Wildcats in a AAAA Section 2 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Waconia lost 72-45 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN)
Next up, the Jaguars confront the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 63-42 non-league loss to Osseo (Osseo, MN).
