Massachusetts High School Basketball - Franklin County Tech can't hold off Greenfield
January 10, 2023: Turners Falls, MA 01376 The Greenfield Green Wave basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Franklin County Tech Eagles to 62 in the Green Wave non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Green Wave now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopkins Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Greenfield will battle a Golden Hawks team coming off a 60-53 league win over Pioneer Valley Regional (Northfield, MA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 7-0.
The Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Turners Falls (Montague, MA). The Thunder come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Turners Falls was nudged by Smith Academy (Hatfield, MA), 49-48, in a league contest.
