Wisconsin High School Basketball - Menominee winner over Gibraltar
January 10, 2023: Fish Creek, WI 54212 The Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI) basketball felled the host Gibraltar Vikings (Fish Creek, WI), 76-59 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Maroons (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Marquette (Marquette, MI). The Redmen go into the Great Northern U.P. test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Marquette was beaten by Kingsford (Kingsford, MI), 65-54, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Door for a Packerland test on Friday, January 13. Gibraltar will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 59-54 league win over Algoma (Algoma, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 8-3.
