January 10, 2023: Karnes City, TX 78118 The Goliad Tigers (Goliad, TX) basketball knocked off the host Karnes City Badgers (Karnes City, TX), 59-42 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (10-7) will now prepare for their test against Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX). The Panthers go into the 3A Region IV District 29 test with a 10-13 record. In their last test, Aransas Pass went down by McMullen County (Tilden, TX), 60-49, in a non-league test.
The Badgers now own a 16-8 record. They play next when they host Jourdanton for a 3A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, January 17. Karnes City will encounter a Indians/Squaws squad coming off a 60-51 league loss to Poth (Poth, TX). The Indians/Squaws record now stands at 10-10.
