Oregon High School Basketball - Santiam nips Regis
January 10, 2023: Stayton, OR 97383 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR) and the host Regis Rams (Stayton, OR), saw Santiam's basketball squad hold off Regis by a tally of 58-54.
With the victory, Santiam improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Colton (Colton, OR) to battle the Vikings in a 2A Tri-River battle on Thursday, January 12. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 4-8. Colton won 64-36 in their recent league battle against Culver (Culver, OR)
The Rams (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Kennedy (Mt. Angel, OR). The Trojans come into the 2A Tri-River battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Kennedy edged Gervais (Gervais, OR), 55-36, in a league battle.
