New Mexico High School Basketball - Cleveland fells La Cueva
January 10, 2023: Rio Rancho, NM 87144 Cleveland Storm (Rio Rancho, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM), 84-69 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cleveland upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Storm travel to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Matadors in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 5-2.
Next up, the Bears clash with the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. La Cueva will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 61-52 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).
