The AGWSR Cougars basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Union Knights to 26 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Marshall for a North Iowa Cedar - West contest on Friday, January 13. AGWSR will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 76-25 non-league loss to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-6.

The Knights (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Wolverines come into the North Iowa Cedar - East contest with a 11-0 record. In their last contest, Dike-New Hartford triumphed over Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA), 60-25, in a league contest.
