Minnesota High School Basketball - Minnehaha Academy crushes Apple Valley
January 10, 2023: Apple Valley, MN 55124 Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks (Minneapolis, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN), 91-16 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Minnehaha Academy upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Red Hawks travel to Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN) to play the Lions in a AA Section 5 bout on Thursday, January 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Providence Academy won 87-53 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Iron-Buhl (Mountain Iron, MN)
Next up, the Eagles play the Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) in a AAAA Section 2 bout, on Thursday, January 12. Apple Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Sabers go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 49-38 league loss to Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN).
