Kentucky High School Basketball - Assumption trounces Oldham County
January 10, 2023: Buckner, KY 40010 The Assumption Rockets (Louisville, KY) basketball crushed the host Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY), 71-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rockets (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Simon Kenton was trounced by Conner (Hebron, KY), 55-27, in a non-league test.
The Colonels now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host South Oldham for a District 29 test on Friday, January 13. Oldham County will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 60-45 non-league win over Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 9-5.
