Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Doddridge County Bulldogs (West Union, WV) and the host Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV), saw Doddridge County's basketball squad overcome Braxton County by a tally of 52-43.

With the victory, Doddridge County improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV) to confront the Hawks in a Little Kanawha - East challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Braxton County will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 58-49 league win over Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV).
