Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT), 60-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley Regional upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Cromwell (Cromwell, CT) to play the Panthers in a Shoreline bout on Thursday, January 12. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Cromwell won 72-22 in their recent league bout against Portland (Portland, CT)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT) in a Shoreline bout, on Friday, January 13. Coginchaug Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 39-26 league win over Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT).
