Michigan High School Basketball - Durand tops Mt. Morris
January 10, 2023: Durand, MI 48429 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Durand Railroaders (Durand, MI) and the visiting Mt. Morris Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI), saw Durand's basketball squad knock off Mt. Morris by a count of 73-57.
With the victory, Durand upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Railroaders travel to Chesaning (Chesaning, MI) to play the Indians in a Mid-Michigan challenge on Friday, January 13. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Chesaning lost 37-28 in their recent league challenge against New Lothrop (New Lothrop, MI)
Next up, the Panthers play the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) in a Mid-Michigan challenge, on Friday, January 13. Mt. Morris will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 58-14 league loss to Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI).
