The King Lions basketball team (Tampa, FL), was overwhelmed 69-29 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Durant Cougars (Plant City, FL)

The Cougars now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Plant City for a 7A District 9 battle on Wednesday, January 11. Durant will confront a Raiders team coming off a 57-4 league loss to Winter Haven (Winter Haven, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 4-12.
