Texas High School Basketball - Farmersville can't hold off Forney
January 10, 2023: Farmersville, TX 75442 The Forney Jackrabbits basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Farmersville Farmers to 46 in the Jackrabbits non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Jackrabbits now sport a 12-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lancaster for a 5A Region II District 14 contest on Friday, January 13. Forney will battle a Tigers team coming off a 56-44 league win over Corsicana (Corsicana, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 6-11.
The Farmers (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Kaufman (Kaufman, TX). The Lions come into the 4A Region II District 14 contest with a 15-8 record. In their last contest, Kaufman edged Caddo Mills (Caddo Mills, TX), 38-18, in a league contest.
