New Mexico High School Basketball - Floyd tipped by Hondo Valley
January 10, 2023: Floyd, NM 88118 The Hondo Valley Eagles basketball team scored 29 points and held the host Floyd Broncos to 27 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Mexico Military Institute for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Hondo Valley will meet a Colts team coming off a 47-44 non-league loss to Loving (Loving, NM). The Colts record now stands at 0-2.
The Broncos (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Elida (Elida, NM). The Tigers enter the A District 4 contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Elida was nudged by Hagerman (Hagerman, NM), 52-34, in a non-league contest.
